Untitled[edit]

I find it funny that in an earlier version of this article, the Vietnamese name of the airport was written without diacritics, while the so-called chữ Nôm name is already written out. By the time the airport is built, the Chinese way of writing have long been obsolete in Vietnam, so there's no reason to add Chinese characters to this article. DHN 08:59, 20 July 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Name[edit]

Does 新山一 (apparently the characters for this airport's name) mean "New Mountain One"? It's always good to have an understanding of place names. Badagnani (talk) 04:26, 19 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

It's just a name and has no meaning at all, although your translation from the Chinese characters is correct, it does not imply any meaning at all. Like no one would translate Berlin into the old Prussan word meaning "swamp". —Preceding unsigned comment added by 79.67.193.213 (talk) 05:57, 11 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Flight between NNG and SGN operated by CZ/CSN[edit]

Here stated that CZ/CSN will operate flight CZ6047/6048 between SGN and NNG from 15NOV15 2015-11-15, however, we can not find this flight on any flight tracker, included the most reliable by this time, flightradar24, I can't find that flight in http://www.hochiminhcityairport.com/flight-status-arrivals-departures/ either. I think we should removed it from this page. 0x44616E68 (talk) 08:54, 21 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

United[edit]

Please stop adding Newark. UA180 is operated with 2 segments with 2 different aircraft. SGN-HKG is a Boeing 737-800 while HKG-EWR is operated by s Boeing 777-200. Please read WP:AIRPORT-CONTENT (bullet #7). Is it not that hard to understand? 107.77.235.34 (talk) 01:32, 27 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]
