[edit] Tonal?

Is it a tonal language? Badagnani 02:42, 22 April 2007 (UTC)

Yes it is generally thought to be tonal, but the specifics are I believe controversial. You will see in the biliography Arakawa has an article on tones. Tibetologist 04:51, 22 April 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Vowel Chart

I would like to make a more sophisticated vowel chart with a cell for each vowel, but this is too tricky given my current knowledge of how to make tables. If anyone can help I would apprecaite it. I also plan to add Gong's recontructions which will make it quite unreadable in its current form. Tibetologist 02:52, 7 August 2007 (UTC)
