[edit] teany

I think this is out of date. My used to love herbal calm and energy tea, but neither seem to exist any more, and the people at the Rivington St. location hadn't even heard of them.

[edit] "Evaporated Cane Juice" or "Sugar"?

The article lists "evaporated cane juice" as an ingredient, which is linked to Sugar. However, there is a more directly related article, Sugarcane_juice. Shouldn't this link go there? I haven't simply made the change, because the Sugarcane_juice article is pretty sketchy; is there an editorial policy against linking to such weak articles? Jackrepenning 14:54, 30 July 2007 (UTC)

TeaNYTeany — Per the naming guidelines of the manual of style on trademarks, company names should be treated as common nouns.--Jeremy (blah blahI did it!) 20:59, 21 January 2011 (UTC)

Oppose; "NY" can be interpreted as an acronym for "New York" in this case. Powers T 23:51, 21 January 2011 (UTC)
Okay, I'm convinced; the company usually shows the name in all lowercase letters, even on the website. I (incorrectly) assumed that the article's current title was the company's preferred rendering. Support. Powers T 14:19, 22 January 2011 (UTC)
  • Comment the typography on the photo shows "teany", which would mean that "Teany" would be the correct wikipedia title. 184.144.170.159 (talk) 05:42, 22 January 2011 (UTC)
  • Support While Powers is correct that TeaNY could mean Tea New York, the company's fasciaboard, shown in the image, of teany suggest otherwise. Skinsmoke (talk) 10:06, 22 January 2011 (UTC)
