An article with this title was deleted in October 2007. However, this is a term that has quite wide currency and would be a valuable addition to Wikipedia. The current description I have placed here is sufficient for a casual reader but clearly needs development. Granitethighs (talk) 20:18, 23 January 2009 (UTC)

Technocentrism is frequently quoted in juxtaposition with ecocentrism which has been an entry in Wikipedia for some time and which I notice gets quite a large number of hits. Technocentrism is a word, like ecocentrism, that is well established in both the technical and popular literature. There is already an entry in Wiktionary but it is a term that needs some explanation - and that is where Wikipedia comes in IMO.Granitethighs (talk) 02:31, 24 January 2009 (UTC)
