Previous text of the article: The Capitol Tower is a famous landmark and is also the world's first round tower office building. It was built in 1956 on Vine Street near Hollywood Boulevard in Hollywood, California as the consolidated West Coast operations of Capitol Records. The building was designed by Welton Becket. It houses several recording studios and is of earthquake-resistant construction.
