Killer Clowns from Outer Space[edit]

Their song Killer Klowns from Outer Space contains the line "...with cotton candy in his hand, says the polka dotted man with a stalk of jacaranda,". How is jacaranda associated with clowns, killer or otherwise?

So that's what that word is! Do a quick Google search "jacaranda clown" and you'll see a few relevant links. It looks like one of the bigger clown colleges or the like is called Jacaranda. I also gather that jacaranda plays a role in the actual movie, though it's been 15+ years since I saw the movie so I don't specifically remember. (P.S. Please remember to sign your posts with four tildes.) Newyorkbrad 22:14, 19 November 2006 (UTC)

Thanks! I had actually Googled that myself and turned up nothing, but that was waaay before Wik and the like. The lyrics of that single line appear in the original music video, complete with bouncing ball! Here it is on YouTube (if that's an appropriate thing to post here); http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=su8gJ1IXOac Paul. Hawaii 5:21, 20 November 2006 (UTC)
