Work to be done[edit]

This article is terrible!! It needs to be sorted out. I might do a little but I'm terribly busy. Someone, perhaps on the relevant wikiproject, really ought to wikify this. Tanzeel 20:13, 7 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I agree, this page seems to be a summarized version of the whole book. Not wikified at all. Also the content could be copied from somewhere...Typer525 Talk 01:11, 4 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Agree: it's a mess. Billbrock (talk) 02:21, 28 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I didn't find the article terrible at all -- though it could probably use more links. I can vouch for the accuracy of the content, having read Freud's paper on several occasions. As for the material being "copied from somewhere," I ran a few google searches and came up with nothing; nor have I ever come across this material while studying Freud in the past. It would be nice, however, if someone were to add more meta-information to help frame the historical and social context of The Ego and the Id. It is a disgrace for such an important opus of Freud to appear an article like this in english. Better dump it altogether. For example, the part that super-ego and ego are together is wrong, in fact Freud made a drawing in his book claiming super-ego and id are together forming the Unconscious (to point a gross mistake here). I request permission to edit the article in due time, without users who have no qualifications undoing my edits, I will not put my work without assurance it will be respected.Beickus (talk) 21:56, 2 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
