Creation of Page[edit]

This page was created to describe a tourist initiative of the Irish Government. Considerable resources have been dedicated to it and it has been launched by the Taoiseach, endorsed by celebrities and written about in newspapers. I believe that it fits the notability guidelines. In the interest of full disclosure and compliance with the Conflict of Interest Guidelines, I must point out that I am currently working as an intern at Fáilte Ireland but that I am receiving no monetary gain from this nor (thanks to the moratorium) do I expect to receive monetary gain from the company in the future. Also, the section that I work in is not part of the Gathering team. I have taken care to present the information in as NPOV way as possible but I may have unconscious biases, so do of course be bold and fill in the gaps, correct the errors and balance the perspectives. This is my first Wikipedia article (my previous work has consisted mainly of minor edits) so I hope it is up to par. Any suggestions or comments for future improvements would be most welcome on my talk page. Rigourous (talk) 09:18, 22 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]
