I've removed this from the opening paragraph: "It debuted at number one on the Japanese charts, bumping Final Fantasy VII out of its place, but then fell into obscurity."
This seemed unlikely to me considering FF VII released 10 months before, so I went and found the charts. Here's the week before Granstream Saga. The "International" rerelease of Final Fantasy VII is there, but at #18. Here's the week of Granstream Saga's release. Granstream Saga is the #4 ranked game for the week, though it is the highest PlayStation game.
Perhaps the original claim is from some more specific listing or non-Famitsu tracker, but if added back it should be sourced. --JoshuaJSlone (talk) 18:18, 17 December 2007 (UTC)
