Comments[edit]

  • Ambiguity - Phrase " Sunday and Online edition ..." is that one edition, or two? --Noleander (talk) 11:52, 1 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
 Done Crisco 1492 (talk) 01:07, 2 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
  • Wording - Phrase "After founding PT Bina Media Tenggara to back the paper ..." is confusing. "founding" -> "persuading" or "finding BMT, a source of capital, to back the paper" etc --Noleander (talk) 11:52, 1 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Found, as in to make something real (the root of "foundation")
  • Too long - Sentence "After further details, including the matter of Sinar Harapan's share of stock and the publisher, were decided at a meeting at Wanandi's office in March 1983,[7] the first edition — totaling eight pages — was published on 25 April 1983" has too many commas and hyphens. break into two sentences? --Noleander (talk) 11:52, 1 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
 Done - Split Crisco 1492 (talk) 01:07, 2 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
  • Confusing - Phrase " ...is targeted at well-educated Indonesians, businessmen, and foreigners...": Implies Indonesians are not businessmen. Also may want to go with more gender neutral "Businesspeople" --Noleander (talk) 11:52, 1 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Done Tried to do something with it. Crisco 1492 (talk) 01:07, 2 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
  • Pictures - Are any pictures available? Of the founders? Owner? Editor? Building? At a minimum, a picture of the newspaper's front page. If you do a front page, make sure the picture is reduced resolution!! See WP:NFCC and WP:NFCI for requirements about duplicating copyrighted material. --Noleander (talk) 11:57, 1 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I'll get a picture of the front page. I've tried getting OTRS permission for historical images, but no luck. As Indonesia does not have freedom of panorama, the building is a no go. Crisco 1492 (talk) 01:07, 2 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
  • Out of date - Some facts are dated 2009. They should be brought up to date, if possible. Such as: (1) " As of 2009, the chief editor is Endy Bayundi"; (2) "As of 2009, approximately half of its 40,000 readers are middle class Indonesians" --Noleander (talk) 12:00, 1 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I'll try and see what I can do. Crisco 1492 (talk) 01:07, 2 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
  • Chief editor added. Several sources indicate 50,000, but they aren't exactly stellar (German site, book on soybeans, etc...). I don't think any more up to date statistics are available. Crisco 1492 (talk) 01:52, 2 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

When you address each of the issues above, please mark it "done" in the "reply here" area. Or, if you have any questions, or reasons why the change should not be made, explain in the "reply here" area. Thanks! --Noleander (talk) 12:20, 1 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Wow, only 4 wording problems. That's a first. Thanks for the review. Crisco 1492 (talk) 01:07, 2 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
