Untitled[edit]

James Lipton is talking to Rainier Wolfcastle on a parody "Inside the actors studio" is in this episode. Why is this not mentioned in the article? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 62.72.233.8 (talk) 20:04, 15 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Squishee Lady[edit]

So what the hell is her name anyway? It was originally Amber in here, and in the List of characters from The Simpsons, but 24.51.225.232 keeps changing it to Annette. And I can't find her name anywhere else, did she even have one at all? Adam Bishop 05:21, 16 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

According to the book of The Simpsons: One Step Beyond Forever, the Squishee lady is named Annette.Simpsonguy (talk) 13:31, 12 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The East?[edit]

What's the deal with the Civil War recreation and the North, South, and East? I know its a joke, and they look funny, but is there something about the East I'm missing? PolarisSLBM 04:49, 30 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I guess because 1)It's impossible because the East is actually the Ocean, and 2) Because the war was in the East.-Anonymous.

Image[edit]

The current image is from The Two Mrs. Nahasapeemapetilons. It even appears on that article's page. Misterkillboy 07:36, 25 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I changed it back to the original, albeit low quality image. Maybe a different, higher quality image from the episode can be uploaded? Misterkillboy 07:39, 25 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

We found a better image featuring a notable screenshot of the episode.Simpsonguy (talk) 13:31, 12 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Chalk gag[edit]

The chalk gag is "I will not lie about being canceled again", Does anyone know what this is referring to?

It is referring to a rumor in England at the time where people thought The Simpsons was cancelled according to episodes trivia section at TV.com.Simpsonguy (talk) 13:31, 12 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Divorce lawyer[edit]

Should be something on the divorce lawyer ("in the case of Lawyers v.s Justice" etc.). AnonMoos (talk) 03:32, 15 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Comments[edit]

  • "It is up to Marge, Homer and Apu try to keep his wife Manjula from learning his secret." Word missing
  • Add character wikilinks in plot section
  • Identify how John Swartzwelder and Matthew Nastuk related to series (producers? staff writers? etc)
  • "On August 24, 2010, "The Sweetest Apu" was released as part of The Simpsons: The Complete Thirteenth Season DVD and Blu-ray set. Al Jean, Ian Maxtone-Graham, Matt Selman, Tim Long, Dan Castellaneta, James Lipton and Matt Warburton participated in the audio commentary of the episode." Needs ref
  • Make sure you use two sets of quotations marks in quoting critics (example: "he said 'Sweetest' was good")
  • Provide wikilinks for DVD Verdict and DVD Talk.
  • A screenshot would really jazz up the article, but it is not required for this review to pass
  • The lead needs ratings data summary

Just make the needed changes above, and the article will be good to go. This review is now on hold for seven days. Thanks, Ruby2010 comment! 16:16, 6 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

A screenshot should not be added to decorate the article. See #1 and #8 of the Wikipedia:Non-free content criteria. Theleftorium (talk) 16:42, 6 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I think I have fixed everything now. I've also added an image that I think fits the article. Thanks for the review! Queenieacoustic (talk) 16:56, 6 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
  • Looks great. The image has a good rationale and its use seems justified for this article. Pass for GA. Nice work! Ruby2010 comment! 18:45, 6 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Plot insinuation removed[edit]

'They then confront Apu and he says he will break up with Annette. However, he breaks his promise (as it gets his mind off the octuplets and she forces him).'

There is no indication that Apu cheated to get his mind off the octuplets. In fact, the implication is that he did it because of his non-existent sex life w/ Manjula. Also, what does 'she forces him' even mean? Removed the bracketed part in the above quote. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.224.32.87 (talk) 22:16, 22 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
