[edit] Is he or isn't he?
I have been watching a revert war develop over this page, and meanwhile I have been watching the newswires and other sources for some sort of official announcement regarding Thein Sein's official appointment as premier. Thus far, I have not seen any news reports. And, the editors who insist that Thein Sein has been officially named PM have thus far not provided any sources to verify their edits. Two of the latest news reports I could find that specifically mention Thein Sein, here and here say he's still the acting PM.
Furthermore, the 3 revert rule has been broken several times already on this page. I would suggest a cooling off period. — WiseKwai 18:02, 22 October 2007 (UTC)

What about his birth date and year? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 91.34.222.54 (talk) 08:24, 24 October 2007 (UTC)
- Anybody can edit Wikipedia. If a verifiable source for Thein Sein's birthday can be located, then his birthday can be added. — WiseKwai 08:49, 24 October 2007 (UTC)
- I know General Thein Sein's Birthday but I cann't edit his article page. It was protected.—Preceding unsigned comment added by Boethagyar (talk • contribs) 11:33, 6 November 2007
I want to edit. What is your source for Thein Sein's birthdate? Is it supplied by a reliable source on the Internet? If you can, provide a link, please. Thanks! — WiseKwai 11:50, 6 November 2007 (UTC)
Sorry, it appears there is a partial block on this page, probably due to the edit warring that went on awhile back. Established users can still edit, however. — WiseKwai 14:44, 7 November 2007 (UTC)
- The partial block has been removed. Anyone is free to edit this article. — WiseKwai 09:26, 8 November 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Expansion request
This article is too brief considering the significance of the subject matter. I am not an expert in this area but will be conducting some research. Any help will be appreciated. Silverwood (talk) 08:56, 28 April 2011 (UTC)
