[edit] Incorrect goals count

I am on 3RR and am fed up with reverting editors who cannot read. Is it my imagination or does the edit note says "League Appearances and goals ONLY". If so why do people keep changing his goal tally to "one" even though the only goal he has so far scored since his return was in the FA cup against Leeds? Britmax (talk) 10:06, 16 January 2012 (UTC)

This is the case for all high-profile footballers. New editors do not notice the edit note or footnote. Chensiyuan (talk) 12:43, 16 January 2012 (UTC)
Great. As you know this you will presumably be reverting your incorrect edit per this diff, yes? Britmax (talk) 12:54, 16 January 2012 (UTC)

[edit] Edit request on 11 February 2012

Replace the sentence "Along with being chief goal-scorer, he was responsible for leading a very young team which had yet to jell fully"

WITH

"Along with being chief goal-scorer, he was responsible for leading a very young team which had yet to gel fully"

He should have 6 games for Arsenal not 5 since his return in 2012. One premier league game is missing.

[edit] Arsene Wenger references

The first two sentences, of the second paragraph in the "Monaco (1992โ€“1999) and Juventus (1999)" section can give the impression Wenger was managing Monaco well beyond September 1994. Given that is when Wenger left however, whatever tutelage Henry had at Monaco after that point, it was from someone else. The wording and tack seems to have stemmed from reference [2] which has erroneous information in it. Baarb (talk) 03:47, 13 February 2012 (UTC)

Hey, Thierry Henry has made 337+39 caps for Arsenal so far, and scored 229 goals...the statistics on this page are incorrect. If you need clarification, it has it on Arsenal's webpage.

Please read the bottom of the infobox which says "Senior club appearances and goals counted for the domestic league only". The figures are correct based on the site you linked for premier league appearances. Camw (talk) 09:00, 15 February 2012 (UTC)
