Concentration camp victim[edit]

I removed the category Nazi concentration camp victim because he died in a prison. Blue Henk 08:12, 24 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

No, he died in Dachau, which was a concentration camp. It's true that he was in many prisons before that, but he didn't die there. I'm reverting the change. Junes 20:36, 24 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Ton Crijnen evaluation of TB[edit]

Because I can't read Dutch, I haven't been able to verify what Ton Crijnen said about Brandsma's relation to the anti-Jewish character of the Catholicism of his time. I tried to rephrase the last sentence in the "Afterlife" section in light of Crijnen's reported analysis that Brandsma was able to work amidst the contradictory influences of his time. Please comment or correct if I have gone beyond what Crijnen has written. brtom (talk) 16:55, 23 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Bibliography Issues[edit]

I note that some works have been dropped from the Bibliography ... and am not sure why. Any rationale for this?

I also note that the citation style has been altered to (maybe) APA. Could we come to some agreement on a standard for this?

Thanks. brtom (talk) 20:27, 1 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

  • Sure, bro. You should notice that those works are listed in the References section. Wiki wants as much data in an entry as possible given its own source. Once used as reference, it's repetitive to list the work as another source. Plus there is a preferred style here for formatting references. Take a look at the WP:MOS, and indicate if you have any questions from there. Daniel the Monk (talk) 23:04, 1 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks, Daniel. I'll look it over. brtom (talk) 03:53, 3 March 2013 (UTC) nl:Titus Brandsma[reply]

Titus Brandsma Gebouw, Overvecht, Utrecht.[edit]

There was a large, social housing building named after him in Utrecht. It was in the Grote Trek Dreef (building 87). Demolished around 2008 or so. 188.29.69.165 (talk) 02:37, 2 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

What Children?[edit]

I've removed the question "What children?" from the end of the first paragraph in "Early Life." If someone thinks that the names of Titus' siblings are of value to the article, they should research them and work them into the whole in a meaningful way. brtom (talk) 18:21, 26 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Patronage: Tobacconists[edit]

If there isn't official recognition of this, I'm opening discussion about removing it. This would remove it quickly as opposed to waiting for a period after adding the usual wikipedia markup. NoelveNoelve (talk) 21:53, 18 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

As for me, I've never heard of that and could easily live without it.--Medusahead (talk) 08:15, 19 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
