Untitled[edit]

Has there ever been any controversy regarding the crossdressing in this show? I know there was over Pokemon. 137.186.155.148 23:03, 27 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Yup, I've linked to a Treehouse TV forum discussion on the subject. IMDB's entry for the Toopy And Binoo 2005 DVD also has some unkind comments on the subject. CrackerjackWannabe 23:33, 13 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Super Solar Fighters?[edit]

This article refers to a fictional game titled "Super Solar Fighters", featuring Toopy, Binoo, and Patchy-Patch. Does anyone have any information on this (fictional) game? Internet searches, and profiles of the voice actors involved, reveal nothing.

Also, please explain what you mean by a "fictional" video game. Were Toopy and Binoo seen playing this video game on an episode? Was it an actual video game that was planned but never released? More information and/or references are needed. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.77.199.107 (talk) 16:11, 16 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Sounds extremely unlikely, especially the idea that someone voiced Binoo. All Google results are Wikipedia or Wikipedia mirrors. Adam Bishop (talk) 19:54, 5 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Gender?[edit]

The article refers to Toopy as 'he' and claims the character is male, while noting occasionally playing 'female' roles. Is it known that Toopy is intended to be male? The show seems to specifically play with gender stereotypes, including the wearing of dresses, noted in the article. Unless someone can cite evidence that Toopy is male, this article should adopt a gender neutral pronouns. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.234.8.152 (talk) 17:26, 18 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I don't think so...I remember thinking this same thing, after reading some ridiculous comment thread on the Treehouse website, where parents were complaining that Toopy encourages cross-dressing or something. The only clue, I suppose, is that he's voiced by a man. I assume Toopy is just supposed to be a generic mouse. Adam Bishop (talk)

According to the official website, Toopy is a "he". Medoli900 (talk) 08:49, 22 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Toopy and Binoo relationship?[edit]

Resolved
 – This claim has been removed from the article.

According to the official website, they are only friends. The claim that they are boyfriends needs citation. Medoli900 (talk) 08:49, 22 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

The movie[edit]

This http://toopyandbinoo.com/theatrical-shows is not a reliable source to claim an official release date, or to even confirm the existence of the film. The website does not even mention the film. It's just a drawing of a poster for the supposed firm. Without a proper reliable source we cannot claim an official release date. Meters (talk) 19:40, 6 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

How is it not? It's completely official. Not to mention, you're completely out of touch. There has also been English posters found in places like Cineplex. Either way, I took out the official part. Let me fix the wording of your awfully written sentence with missing commas, Meters. MightyWinz (talk) 03:49, 13 February 2023 (UTth
No, a drawing of a poster on a website is not an official announcement. If there are reliable sources then please add one tot eh article. Meters (talk) 06:55, 13 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Sorry it was not a drawing this is MightyWinz fault but even know the poster is real like English and French poster 2001:1970:5CA3:C200:A00C:612A:C82D:AED0 (talk) 00:56, 14 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Hello, Puzzlehead. This is MightyIsBestMCPE. Please stop posting misinformation on the Wikipedia. MightyWinz (talk) 16:38, 14 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
That "drawing" was found in Cineplex, so I think that's good enough to be considered official. MightyWinz (talk) 17:01, 14 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
The Offical Trailer is here of Toopy and Binoo movie today on Valentine Day 2001:1970:5CA3:C200:611C:9D91:E688:8E11 (talk) 02:50, 15 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Puzzlehead, we already know, MightyWinz (talk) 03:10, 15 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
MightyWinz I already know too!, 2001:1970:5CA3:C200:611C:9D91:E688:8E11 (talk) 13:01, 15 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
bro i am talking to you MightyWinz (talk) 16:35, 15 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Hello MightyWinz. I was scrolling through the wiki and I found this conversation. Can you please send the Cineplex website to verify that your statement is true and to solve this? I'm pretty sure what Meters is trying to say is that the website is not a reliable source and does not confirm anything. Thanks, Dinoz1 (chat?) 17:04, 16 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
The source is a drawing of cartoon characters looking at a poster for the movie (on the cartoon's website). I rewrote the content to simply say that the website now contains the drawing, and what it says. What I object to is the editor's attempts to claim that this is official confirmation of the existence of the movie and of its release date. Meters (talk) 19:45, 16 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you so much Meters! I think we'll have to block this user for disruptive edits if this persists. Thank you for taking time out of your day to solve this issue. Your help is greatly appreciated! Dinoz1 (chat?) 20:11, 16 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I completely disagree, now that they've released a trailer from Sphere Films, especially. I ended up agreeing with Meters, in the end, so I think you should leave the situation completely alone. There was no issue in the first place, it's literally just rewording of sentences with similar facts. MightyWinz (talk) 16:53, 17 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Oddly, the Cineplex page was taken down. It'll probably go back up again, though. MightyWinz (talk) 16:54, 17 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Didn't really know if the situation was over (due to the fact that the conversation's latest comment was yesterday at the time of posting). However, glad the issue was resolved. Dinoz1 (chat?) 16:56, 17 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
User 2001:1970:5CA3:C200:A00C:612A:C82D:AED0 is a child that is known to make very bad edits, check the article history before you suggest something like that. MightyWinz (talk) 16:58, 17 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
(Only writing this, because he is the last replier, he just decided to say something in the wrong place because he clearly doesn't understand how this platform works.) MightyWinz (talk) 16:59, 17 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Welp, I guess this over. My apologizes for trying to get you blocked and the real person who should be blocked is that IP who's the one who's *actually* disrupting the wiki. Dinoz1 (chat?) 17:01, 17 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for apologizing, you won't see people like you on the internet at all, have a good one man. MightyWinz (talk) 23:54, 17 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
One more thing, @MightyWinz, your accusations on "how I don't know how this platform works", I've been on this platform for 2 and a half years with over 1 thousand edits to the wiki and you've been on it for 11 days. Well, I'm not going to waste time on this pointless argument. Maybe you should check my editing history before you make these unsourced and pointless claims. Dinoz1 (chat?) 17:11, 17 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Not talking about you, talking about 2001:1970:5CA3:C200:A00C:612A:C82D:AED0, read the reply again. MightyWinz (talk) 23:51, 17 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
There a same English poster of Toopy and Binoo movie at Landmark Cinemas post by Anoj1362 on subreddit 2001:1970:5CA3:C200:81EA:9EC2:E1A:CA57 (talk) 19:36, 18 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
An IP telling us that someone on a user-generated site claims to have seen one... That is not a source that we can verify or use. Provide a reliable source or drop this. Meters (talk) 19:54, 18 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Anoj is my friend, he's a different person than the IP, I'll ask him where he found the poster but here's a link to the post (for now)
Here
Ignore the way he types, he's clearly quite young, but he's actually very good with finding information on the movie and is a good guy. MightyWinz (talk) 02:47, 19 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
To the IP: I recommend you see WP:Reliable sources/Perennial sources, and judging by your age, I also recommend you see WP:Guidance for younger editors. I am a younger editor myself, and I think these links will help you like they helped me. I put these links here to give you a better understanding of Wikipedia. “Toopy and Binoo’s big battle?”[edit]

What is this “Toopy and Binoo’s big battle”. This seems like a troll, it’s completely unsourced. To whoever’s adding it, show me a source and add it as a citation. If not, it will be removed. MightyWinz (talk) 03:12, 15 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Wikiproject Horror?[edit]

Is it a horror TV show? To me it seems like a comedic pre-schoolers show. Dinoz1 (chat?) 17:06, 17 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Where is this coming from? The article clearly identifies it as a children's comedy TV show. There is no mention of "horror". Meters (talk) 19:58, 18 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
On the top of the talk page, there is some text saying "WikiProject Horror". I assume this is a mistake or intentional. Dinoz1 (chat?) 22:46, 18 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I removed it as inapplicable.-- Ponyobons mots 21:38, 1 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
