What is missing in this article?[edit]

The article gives a correct definition of U.S. Comics published in TPB form.

It probably needs two more sections:

  • One section comparing and linking with other forms of comic books in other countries, e.g., Japanese Mangas or Franco-Belgian "albums" (e.g., Tintin's)
  • One section recalling the history and evolution of the American TPB. How it started relatively recently. How collections of reprints (e.g., Marvel Treasury Edition's in 1974) predated the actual form.
