Accent[edit]

I'm Australian, I would never, ever be fooled by his "Australian" accent - sounds clearly Cockney Londoner to me. I never thought he was Australian (although acknowledge he played them sometimes), and not sure about him being accepted as one of "our own". —Preceding unsigned comment added by Darkfalz (talkcontribs) 06:29, 4 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I agree Im from the south east of England and his Mortal Kombat accent is definatley Cockney, sounds nothing like an Aussie. Dont understand why the USA have trouble distingushing the two "BritishBulldog123" — Preceding unsigned comment added by BritishBulldog123 (talkcontribs) 17:41, 3 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Don't worry we don't understand why the UK (whatever that means) think every American appearing on British shows is either from NYC or the deep south... — Preceding unsigned comment added by 73.168.152.76 (talk) 02:36, 10 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I, too, am Australian and agree his accent is definitely Un-Australian. At least the article points out that his accent is mistakenly identified as Aussie. If I heard someone talking like that in my neighbourhood, out of curiosity I would politely ask them where they came from and how long had they been in Australia. Generally I don't watch the episodes featuring his character as I find the 'Australian' label sort of offensive. It is common to find overseas actors inventing what they think is an Australian accent when in actuality there's is a mangled mixture of South African. New Zealander and Aussie. Age?[edit]

According to the linked articles, he was 37 when he died; according to the birthdate given here, he was 40. Which one is correct? 109.91.157.219 (talk) 05:23, 29 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
