First Single?[edit]

Didn't Wonder Boy get released first? I clearly remember the video being released at around the same time as the first Lord of the Rings movie back in winter 2001/2002. PHOENIXZERO 07:46, 1 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Both this page and Wonderboy have the album as the first album released from the album. Can someone please find out and edit the required page. peterismeok 20:10, 15 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

ending lyrics[edit]

does anyone know what they're saying at the end of the song (album version)? most lyric websites would write down "skat" and others just got it wrong...

It's just incoherant syllables rhythmically sung. See Scat singing. Jerry delusional ¤ kangaroo 06:11, 26 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Stairway to Heaven[edit]

I realize that stairway to heaven is in the song, but wouldn't it be wrong to say that this is hinting at the fact that D thinks that it's one of the best songs in the world. After all, they claim that there is no resemblance between Tribute and the best song in the world.

It has been hinted many times that STH is what they believe to be the best song in the world.

Stairway is part of the song in the HBO episode but was changed for licensing issues in the version on the Sony album. In the HBO version it is clearly implied that Stairway is the best song in the world. Check the lyrics "And then we played the first thing that came to our heads. Just so happened to be - the best song in the world - and it saved our butts " followed immediately by the opening of stairway to heaven.

resemblence to pinbal wizard[edit]

is it just me or is the singing in tribute similar to that in Pinball Wizard?? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Estemshorn (talkcontribs) 03:09, 3 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Just you, methinks. Jerry delusional ¤ kangaroo 06:07, 26 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Ninja Land[edit]

The Lonely Ninjas' "Ninja Land" has an identical "Best song in the world" portion to Tribute. Tribute is obviously much well known, but if I'm not mistaken, both songs were released in 2002. Which is the predecessor? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 209.147.114.202 (talk) 22:07, 19 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
