--Seems a bit misleading to me that "Yokosuka Naval Base" should redirect to this page. Yokosuka has been the site of a Japanese naval base for over a hundred years--and it remains the site of a JMSDF base as well as the US naval base. It seems strange to me that there is no other page that details the Japanese side of the story about naval activities around Yokosuka--which, after all, is in Japan. 68.32.208.118 (talk) 05:11, 13 July 2009 (UTC)
-- 26JAN08 - Deleted the photo of the USS Midway and the USS Independence. Reasoning is that it is misleading, as the photo was not taken at the Naval base in Yokosuka, and is also therefore irrelevant to the article's subject.
This page does not mention a word about submarines in Yokosuka but two of them are clearly visible there. I made photos two weeks ago http://no.spam.ee/~tonu/gallery/index.php/Japan-2012/Yokosuka-february-2012 . Meanwhile I grant Wikipedia to use any of those with usual CC license.
