Update[edit]

This section will need to be updated once the IOC have determined how they will reallocate the medals in events where Marion Jones has been stripped of her medals, and whether the innocent athletes in the 4x100 and 4x400 will be allowed to keep the title [1]. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 128.243.220.41 (talk) 11:52, 13 December 2007 (UTC)

The relay team athletes have now been stripped of their medals. No word yet on reallocation. http://sports.espn.go.com/oly/trackandfield/news/story?id=3339267 Sperril (talk) 13:53, 10 April 2008 (UTC)

Size split?[edit]

Split - Article is over 100 kB and should be split alphabetically. Thoughts? Suggestions?--Jax 0677 (talk) 20:37, 27 December 2012 (UTC)

Probably best. Watch for pseudonyms Op47 (talk) 18:21, 2 March 2013 (UTC)
On second thoughts, I dealt with United States at the 2004 Summer Olympics by moving the long article to United States at the 2004 Summer Olympics (details) and creating a summary article. Nearly 2 months later and noone has complained. Op47 (talk) 20:48, 8 July 2013 (UTC)
