Name of manufacturer and aircraft[edit]

I'm rather ignorant about Yugoslav aircraft, but according to the Wiki article the company was called Utva at the time this aircraft was produced ; Lola Utva came later. Jane's 1966-7 has the company as Fabrika Avia Utva. Comments? Also: my sources (Jane's, and The Observer's Book of Aircraft 1966) give the Utva 65 the Yugoslav name Privrednik, which my little Croatian dictionary implies =businessman (=merchant, as on the page) as it gives privredan =economic or business. However Utva implies (see list of aircraft) it means "agriculturalist" which sounds right here. ? TSRL (talk) 15:43, 31 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Types and operational history[edit]

On the web there are various repeated stories of "Agriculturalist", "IO" and "Super Privrednik", but is there reliable info, and do these simply correspond to the three engine sizes? Were there other types? Also, with 69 built, is there more on their operational history within Yugoslavia? At least 5 were exported; were more? It seems none are flying now; how many museum specimens are there, beyond the one in Belgrade?TSRL (talk) 21:34, 31 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I have from Illustrated Encyclopedia of Aircraft - In 1965 Utva flew a prototype of a specialised agriculturalized aircraft, the UTVA-65 Privrednik, which combined the wings, tail unit and landing gear of the UTVA-60 with a new fuselage. The UTVA-65 was available as the UTVA-65 Privrednik-GO with a 295hp (220kW) Lycoming GO-480-G1A6 or the UTVA-65 Privrednik-IO with a 300hp (224kW) Lycoming IO-540-K1A5. Both superseded in 1973 by the UTVA-65 Super Privrednik-350 with a 350hp (261kW) Lycoming IO-540-A1C engine. MilborneOne (talk) 22:21, 31 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Rename[edit]

After checking the available online sources and other articles about Utva airplanes, including the Utva Aviation Industry article, I determined that the proper name for this aircraft is the Utva-65, with title case and a hyphen. I have made the aircraft's name consistent throughout the article, and I have renamed the article to be consistent with this usage. // ⌘macwhiz (talk) 03:34, 30 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
