Everything Or Nothing.[edit]

I realized that it was a BRDM-2 in Everything Or Nothing, not a VAB. Dudtz 10/4/05 5:32 PM EST

In my opinion, the comparison between the VAB and the others IFV is irrelevent, since it is mostly considered as an armored truck, not as a fighting vehicle in itself. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 90.62.93.212 (talk) 11:41, 25 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Tripulation and combat use[edit]

The article doesn't tells how many person can be transported in this vehicle. There's place for a driver, another person on front, but at the rear, how many persons can be transported?Ten, but all of them are sited?About combat use, almost nothingAgre22 (talk) 15:17, 18 August 2008 (UTC)agre22[reply]

Comparable vehicles[edit]

The list for comparable vehicles is a little short to say the least, surely this can be expanded to include the likes of the Bushmaster and the Fahd APC? That's to name just two, as you could also deem the MRAP family of vehicles as comparable now adays as they fill the same roll that the VAB was designed to do when first built. It just seems that the Al-Fahd has been thrown it at the end to fill out the page, but then again the Al-Fahd is an 8x8 vehicle while the VAB is a 4x4 vehicle, hardly comparable don't you think? --ComradeAlex (talk) 16:27, 7 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Blacklisted Links Found on the Main Page[edit]

Cyberbot II has detected that page contains external links that have either been globally or locally blacklisted. Links tend to be blacklisted because they have a history of being spammed, or are highly innappropriate for Wikipedia. This, however, doesn't necessarily mean it's spam, or not a good link. If the link is a good link, you may wish to request whitelisting by going to the request page for whitelisting. If you feel the link being caught by the blacklist is a false positive, or no longer needed on the blacklist, you may request the regex be removed or altered at the blacklist request page. If the link is blacklisted globally and you feel the above applies you may request to whitelist it using the before mentioned request page, or request its removal, or alteration, at the request page on meta. When requesting whitelisting, be sure to supply the link to be whitelisted and wrap the link in nowiki tags. The whitelisting process can take its time so once a request has been filled out, you may set the invisible parameter on the tag to true. Please be aware that the bot will replace removed tags, and will remove misplaced tags regularly.

Below is a list of links that were found on the main page:

Resolved This issue has been resolved, and I have therefore removed the tag, if not already done. No further action is necessary.—cyberbot II NotifyOnline 19:57, 9 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Designer(s) and Manufacturer(s)[edit]

The following statements (from the different sections indicated) seem contradictory, and thus confusing, when taken together. I don't know the corporate parentage of this vehicle, so I can't correct this myself:

top[edit]

designed by the Euro Mobilité Division of GIAT Industries of France

design[edit]

Companies Panhard and Saviem/Renault answered the requirement, and the Renault prototype was selected in May 1974,[1] with 4,000 units ordered.

In 2003, Renault Trucks Défense took over marketing the VAB from GIAT.

In early May 2008, Renault Trucks Defence signed an eight-year, 20 million euro contract with Kongsberg Gruppen of Norway

My best guess is that attributing the 1974 design to Renault glosses over the fact that GIAT had not yet been bought by Renault. But I really have no idea what's accurate. If these details can't be verified and corrected, it might be more accurate to avoid mentioning the manufacturer(s) — a crude but simple solution.
