I am trying to write an article about a govermental, non-profit research institute... Can you explain me why do you see this as "blatant advertising"? VTT is one of the biggest employers in Finland and I suppose its deserves to be featured in Wikipedia. Companies of the same size are also feature here... I really don't understand?
- Sure, VTT definitely deserves an article. It's just the way the article is written that makes it look very much like advertising material. Compare to for instance http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fraunhofer_Society . Also, having inline non-wikified references to Taloustutkimus surbeys with no web links is not really good style here.TorLillqvist (talk) 16:56, 29 September 2009 (UTC)
- Anyway, much of the text in the article seems to be directly copied from VTT's own web pages, like http://www.vtt.fi/vtt/index.jsp?lang=en . If that isn't marketing material, I don't know what is... TorLillqvist (talk) 17:06, 29 September 2009 (UTC)
[edit] disambig?
Why does VTT redir here and not to VTT (disambiguation)?--88.73.41.59 (talk) 14:04, 6 May 2011 (UTC)
[edit] technology developed by VTT
I think there should be a section listing some of the technology developed by VTT. What do you reckon? Azylber (talk) 13:29, 25 January 2012 (UTC)
