stub[edit]

Okay stub, but needs lots of work.

First off, it's mentioned that it's a memorial site. But memorial of WHAT? Why was it built? What does it commemorate? What is its historical and cultural significance. Why is it located in Hawaii and not Japan (assuming it was built in memorial of some Japnese event or Japanese/American event like WW2 or Pearl Harbor)?

I'm confused.[edit]

Inside the main par of the temple there is a 9-12 ft Buddha sitting on a gold leaf lotus.

What does "there is a 9-12 ft Buddha" mean? Is it 9 feet or 12 feet? Surely it is not both, or some variable between them. Surely it is not Schrodinger's Buddha, where it might be any value between 9 and 12 feet, and you don't know until you observe it. --70.131.119.53 (talk) 06:25, 5 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
