Conflict of Interest Edits by CTA[edit]

The roll out of Ventra is becoming a controversial due to several problematic issues. Not all reports about Ventra has put the CTA in good light. CTA is already making edits to the article as part of damage control. The CTA's direct IP addresses are 206.208.24.0 through 206.208.31.255. Included in this range is 206.208.29.20 which edited the article on August 21, 2013. The edit puts a positive spin on Metra initial refusal to be part of the Ventra payment system. The editor could have tried to clear up the issue of conflict of interest by providing a statement of full disclosure on this talk page. However, they decided not to do so. As references to further controversy involving the Ventra payment system get added to the article, it is possible that further COI edits will be made by CTA staff. Not all of these edit may come directly from the CTA IP addresses. Several employees of the CTA also have access to Internet at home via Comcast and AT&T which have also made edited to this wiki page.

References[edit]

I believe the references to this article should be rearranged such that the follow the pattern of other CTA articles as opposed to the current citation number to a reference that you then have to check against a list of external links. It should not be too hard to change with the current length of the article. XFEM Skier (talk) 21:41, 16 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
