Despite his wife's yearly blessing of the animals, Snyder remains unfriendly to animal rights and animal protection legislation.

Isn't that just a touch snarky? And is it really "Personal Life"?

In response to the Representative Mark Foley scandal, Snyder said that the "allegations raise a lot of questions that need to be answered".[citation needed]

Not sure why this particular issue of thousands is important to the Vic Snyder article. Particularly since the quote given is a boring standard politician quote. He has made much more important quotes about other more important issues, in fact, he probably made less boring quotes about this particular issue.24.144.27.226 15:43, 18 February 2007 (UTC)

Congressman Snyder is a United Methodist, not a Presbyterian as stated in the article. His wife is a United Methodist Minister. I know both of them. 68.46.247.140 01:02, 31 October 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Supposed sponsorship of 2006 bill

"In 2006, he sponsored a bill that would have allowed non-U.S. born citizens to run for President of the United States." That seems unlikely, since a constitutional amendment would be required to allow that. Aside from that, I searched thomas.loc.gov and couldn't find anything about it. Agreed -- I zapped it. I'd guess somebody was just seeing what they could get away with. Good catch. -Pete (talk) 16:50, 21 December 2007 (UTC)
