Vandalism[edit]

As the rumored flip to sports talk is still a rumor, placing it in the article is inappropriate, therefore removing such inappropriate information is not vandalism. I will be removing the sports talk references, they should stay removed until WJFK-FM does change formats. frantarkentonshailmary (talk) 03:52, 25 June 2009 (UTC)

Rumored Format Change[edit]

The rumored format change in July is at present just that, a rumor and is therefore inappropriate for an encyclopedia. I am aware of the Washington Post's article on the matter, however this article does not confirm a format change, this has been misinterpreted by some. Until a reliable source that confirms the format change is presented the article should be reverted to my last edit. Please note I am not disputing the Washington Post's reliability but am disputing the content of the alleged article of confirmation. frantarkentonshailmary (talk) 04:26, 25 June 2009 (UTC)

I changed the "Sports talk" section to "Rumored format change", this was done because I do not feel feel that the Washington Post article is not confirmation of a format change but is confirmation of a rumor about a format change. frantarkentonshailmary (talk) 05:17, 25 June 2009 (UTC)

To quote User:Chuckiesdad from your talk page: "WP:Verify contains the policy on this: 'The threshold for inclusion in Wikipedia is verifiability, not truth—that is, whether readers are able to check that material added to Wikipedia has already been published by a reliable source, not whether we think it is true.'" - NeutralHomerTalk • 05:27, 25 June 2009 (UTC)

Which is why I included the "rumored format change" section as the rumor of a format change is all that is verifiable. The article in its current state suggests that a format change has already taken place or is imminent, this is not verifiable, for this reason I feel the article should be reverted to my most recent edit. I also am not sure why my good faith efforts to improve the quality of an article are stuck down as vandalism without discussion. frantarkentonshailmary (talk)-- 05:33, 25 June 2009 (UTC)

David Lee Roth[edit]

David Lee Roth, while a host on many of CBS's "Free FM" stations for a short time, never appeared as a host on WJFK-FM. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 108.28.181.201 (talk) 23:19, 20 March 2011 (UTC)
