Name of the Airport (and this article)[edit]

No details yet of the actual name of the airport, Government is referring to as the "Western Sydney Airport", so I have named it so for the meantime. It will undoubtedly also be referred to as Badgerys Creek Airport (not unlike Tullamarine or Coolangatta), so a similar redirect has been created. Whatever the final name, the article should be renamed to it and the appropriate redirects made. - Advanstra (talk) 12:32, 15 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

SWZ[edit]

Everywhere I've looked has said that this airport's code is SWZ so I added that Cityrailsaints (talk) 02:58, 1 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Builders[edit]

When I looked into who builds the thing, ever so slowly, I found Bechtel. It should be mentioned that our tax Dollars are spent with a foreign company. But maybe there is a reason; i.e. the airport may have value for the American military and in that case you are obviously obliged to commission a US company. Now so many years later since the first inception and when we have run into a housing crisis, it is odd that government is allowed to spend billions on an airport but not on getting homeless into housing.
