Wind turbines[edit]

I found the following statement on the page:

"The village is to be the first village in the country to have wind turbines; three 80m high (120m to blade tip) turbines are planned to the North East of the village near Baldock."

The first statement is surely untrue. (For example, here is a report about an already-established wind farm.) So I removed the claim.
If it's simply a mis-worded statement ('county', perhaps?) then please supply a reference and reinstate the corrected text. --David Edgar 20:13, 20 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I think the original author probably did mean first in the county rather than country... However, there is at least one turbine already in Herts - it can be seen from the M25 near Junction 20, so probably best that this is left out C2r (talk) 23:16, 3 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
