Can anyone help me with the history of the Wheaton plastics manufacturing plant in Mays Landing NJ, its history, its closing, the recent fire, etc. ? My father and grandfather worked there till it closed, and my dad gave some interesting historical narrative based on his knowledge of the plant from just working there, but I need more detailed history. I'm going to attempt to research it and it to this page, if it's relevant. I hope i'm not wrong in assuming that there is a substantive link between the operations in Millville and Mays Landing? Wheaton Industries or Wheaton Science? Which is it?[edit]
This article says that this company was formerly known as Wheaton Science Products "and is once again known as Wheaton Industries." However, the Wheaton Science Products article linked to says that "Wheaton Science Products is a subsidiary of Alcan .... The company was previously Wheaton Industries...." http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wheaton_Science_Products That article has a link to the Wheaton Science Products catalog which says "Wheaton Science Products - A Division of Wheaton Industry." Value of wheaton glass co.[edit]
I have an old bottle passed down from many generations. I'm looking to find age and value of the bottle I have. I've checked the company's website and cannot find one that even resembles the one I have. I'm assuming this one has been discontinued therefore possibly a valuable piece a collector may be looking for. How would I go about researching it and possibly selling.
