Changes 28 May 2010[edit]

I have made several significant edits to the article, to bring it more in line with Wikipedia standards:

  • Removed several peacock statements, to achieve a more neutral point of view.
  • Removed two paragraphs from the History section, which dealt with criticism and controversy, without providing reliable, third-party sources as evidence (a Google timeline does not meet this definition).
  • Removed the wikilinks from the Name Changes sub-section, since they all redirect back to this article.
  • Removed the following sections from the article, as they were primarily promotional and/or consisted of excessive details: Mission, Courses, Admissions, Dress Code, Diversity Summit, 2010 Health Day.
  • Consolidated the Awards and Honors (none removed, only condensed).
  • Moved the External Links and See Also sections.
  • Corrected the format of in-line citations (punctuation, link format; also changed "Retrieved" dates to reflect when sources were consulted, not when they were published).

I invite other editors to review these changes and restore/modify/add content as they see fit. Thanks! Davnor (talk) 16:38, 28 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of Whitney M. Young Gifted & Talented Leadership Academy's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.

Reference named "Ohio High School Athletic Association member directory":

I apologize if any of the above are effectively identical; I am just a simple computer program, so I can't determine whether minor differences are significant or not. AnomieBOT 17:41, 21 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
