The China Lobby[edit]

It's a rather well known secret that Senator Knowland was "the point man" for what was known as "The China Lobby," hence his support for Nationalist China.

While I am not so personally knowledgeable about the specifics of this, I know there must be someone out there who is; this should definitely be expanded upon since "The China Lobby" had rather dire consequences in regard to US Foreign Policy, in particular regard to Southeast Asia and ultimately Vietnam. just 2 days after 100th anniversary occasion of Oakland Tribune?[edit]

He spoke at that 100th anniversary event on Feb. 21, 1974, and apparently committed suicide just 2 days later. I don't know what was said of this at the time. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 128.63.16.20 (talk) 22:50, 4 February 2014 (UTC)
