It's a rather well known secret that Senator Knowland was "the point man" for what was known as "The China Lobby," hence his support for Nationalist China.
While I am not so personally knowledgeable about the specifics of this, I know there must be someone out there who is; this should definitely be expanded upon since "The China Lobby" had rather dire consequences in regard to US Foreign Policy, in particular regard to Southeast Asia and ultimately Vietnam. just 2 days after 100th anniversary occasion of Oakland Tribune?

I see no mention of his wife's affair with senator Moody, or his affair with senator Moody's wife. Seems like this is notable, what with both being senators. I see it is mentioned in Moody's article. Fydorpetrovich (talk) 02:22, 6 November 2014 (UTC)
