Windows SteadyState UI on Vista[edit]

This is the UI of Windows SteadyState as it should be look like on a Vista machine: Screenshot
For some reason, sometimes it using the UI built for XP under Vista. The current screenshot in the article is showing the XP's UI, but claims it's Vista's UI.

Windows SteadyState over W7[edit]

W7 Restricted Account

Hi, I know it's not the right place, but I don't know where else can I ask it.
I secceed to bypass the installer OS version checking, and to install Windows SteadyState on a Windows 7 OS on a computer I have at home (Ultimate, 32-bit). When I tried to install it on a school computer (Professional, 64-bit) it didn't work. I tried creating a portable version of the software and it run on the computer, but when creating an account it got a little messy - the account was generated, but it had no restrictions. To run the portable version, I need to run it as an Administrator. I'm guessing the problem is when trying to write values to the registry - it provably writing it to the portable-app's folder. I used ThinApp to generate the portable version. Is there something in the settings there that can fix it? I chose to allow the program to use system files (like on Program Files, AppData, etc.).
On the first time, I just tried to extract the files from the MSI package, and to put it on "Program Files", but when I run the software it claimed it's not install properly, and needed to re-install. Is that some registry files of the software, something that needed to be added on System32, a driver...?

BTW, about the article - I think that a screenshot of a restricted account generated with it should be added.
