compelled testimoneis made by witnesses. whether it is violation of human right?[edit]

after 11 yrs and counting i can tell u from personal experience it should be. i cant get on with my life because the threat of testifing is as great as not. who should help me? why should he have new teeth and i cant afford them beacause i have to keeping moving to feel safe for a short time. temp jobs have no benefits, how many rms does my son need to make his own???? i have no human rights...im a witness.... —Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.11.57.250 (talk) 03:56, 16 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

A person I know seems to have fallen into RCMP witness protection plan program 3 which may be a program destined to test the limits of the law with regards to human rights. Anyone ever suffered such a program. A Canadian creation. Tennesseeghetto (talk) 05:51, 26 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Related law[edit]

It would be helpful to add to the article information on the legal situation regarding constructed identities. Normally, there can be consequences to providing false information, failing to give all aliases you have ever had, etc. This can apply when speaking to the police, applying for jobs, or interacting with government in certain ways.

If a protected witness needs to use their fake identity to obtain a passport, etc., what waivers are they granted from the usual requirements you or I would be bound by?
