Police commissioner's racial slur[edit]

This is a non-neutral political editorialization that doesn't deserve mention in this town's article, let alone meriting an entire section. This whole section has nothing to do with the town itself or its history and should be removed. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 198.104.59.12 (talk) 08:52, 7 November 2014 (UTC)

I see no evidence of editorialization in the paragraph, and it was a major issue that let to town-wide meetings. It is certainly notable and is now part of the town's history. The only reason to remove it would be embarrassment over the event.--Ken Gallager (talk) 13:18, 7 November 2014 (UTC)
