Trailer music[edit]

The Russian choral piece that plays in the official trailer is "Полюшко-поле", old Soviet song from 1934. But I don't have any source to reference it yet. :( --Koveras  20:27, 28 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Doesn't matter, thank you very much :) Mallerd (talk) 14:43, 14 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Wow, there's even an article dedicated to it, actually. :D --Koveras  15:45, 14 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Just something....[edit]

Could somebody put in this page the fact Swordfish Studios has bought Massive?? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.64.124.83 (talk) 00:04, 12 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

March, 2009?[edit]

This article states only just recently that the game will be released in March, 2009. Is this true? Can someone please give us a legitimate source to refer to?76.24.145.157 (talk) 21:11, 9 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Release[edit]

Does anybody have ANY indication as to when this game will be released, if at all? This game should have been released long ago. Nice time for Activision to be selling Massive out!71.192.134.75 (talk) 23:55, 18 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

March 2009 release was announced today (or was it yesterday?) and I added it to the article. I can't find a link for this on Ubisoft's site, but a press release by Massive Entertainment should be good enough. - TexMurphy (talk) 07:32, 22 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

IGN says that the game will come out during the 2nd qurter of 2009 and that the console verisons are not cancelled —Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.77.40.123 (talk) 01:29, 25 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Trailers[edit]

I've been thinking...we should create a section on game trailers released on the internet. Several promos for Soviet Assault have appeared in recent days. We had a trailer section prior to the first game's release. Let's do the same for this article up until its details become clear. Someone reply.71.192.134.75 (talk) 01:06, 22 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

True that we had a trailer section in the first game, which resulted in my hard work getting removed. I'm just worried that will happen to your's too. kliu1 (talk) 22:04, 1 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

That was all yours? You did a pretty good job with that, man. However, once the game got released, they apparently decided that the trailers had become irrelevant info. Although we all know that trailers are sometimes better than the released product! I deal with the loss of this section after the game's release. Thanks for the warning.71.192.134.75 (talk) 20:26, 4 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

How about the Yulya trailer? Mallerd (talk) 02:07, 5 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Released[edit]

and how is this game received now it's released? Mallerd (talk) 01:24, 2 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

It hasn't been released yet, Ubisoft only said it would be released in March not specifically saying what date.

Oh, for some reason I had March 2 in my head. anyway now it says 12th of March. sourced? Mallerd (talk) 11:37, 4 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

This post by a Massive employee on the official forums says March 10 for the U.S. and March 12 for Europe. I've updated the article with those dates. - TexMurphy (talk) 13:47, 4 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

A question about the intertwined campaigns..[edit]

In the World In Conflict: Complete Edition, the two campaigns are merged into one campaign. Is this also the case when you just install the two seperate retails, World In Conflict and Soviet Assault aside each other?
