I think a good section to include for getting to GA would be a section on wildlife in the rivers and area. I will work on putting that in unless y'all think it isn't appropriate. Thank you. -- JoannaSerah (talk) 00:45, 9 January 2013 (UTC)
Found some pictures that we might want to use here, if there's space/interest enough for them. These all come from Commons:
A dairy farm in Yadkin County
A vineyard in Yadkin County (Swan Creek)
Fort Defiance, an early plantation home in the very upper reaches of the basin (Caldwell County)
Cooleemee Plantation, a plantation in the middle reaches of the Yadkin
NC Research Campus for post-industrial era
Apparently this mushroom was first ID'd in NC, and this pic is from the Uwharrie Nat'l Forest (in the Basin)
Pinus palustris in the Carolina Sandhills NWR, near Cheraw
Brookgreen Gardens, near Myrtle Beach/Murrells Inlet
This is just a start; obviously mine tend to focus more on human habitation, but feel free to add any you might find. I chose images that didn't seem like they've been too over-used on other "region" or place articles. Cdtew (talk) 18:47, 17 January 2013 (UTC)
