Yellow Finn, Lapuan Niku, Eigenheimer[edit]

This potato is known in Finland as "Lapuan Niku" and was very likely brought to northern US by finnish immigrants from the region of Ostrobotnia. The cultivar was also known here as "Eigenheimer", so maybe it's originally from Netherlands (Yellow creamy cultivar named Eigenheimer was registered there in 1893). Just some thoughts. 85.156.229.128 (talk) 17:56, 5 June 2011 (UTC)
