Is she also the well-known Vocaloid producer Yuuyu-P?[edit]

Currently ongoing Kemurikusa TV anime's ED song "Indeterminate Universe" is performed by the hologram j-pop star Hatsune Miku and credited to Yuuyu-P, a vocaloid tuner known for the 2010 Miku hit song "Deep Sea Girl". The Kemurikusa ED song, however is also officially available in full-lenght version on Youtube web portal, where the performer is credited as "Yukiko Iwai" as seen here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cvJgHlcb0to

This raises a question whether the now 50 year old former j-pop idol group member Ms. Yukiko "Yuuyu" Iwai is indeed the same person as the vocaloid tuner Yuuyu-P? On one hand, japanese copyright laws are really strict so any inaccuracy is unlikely to happen. On the other hand Vocaloid technology is very much imperfect and requires a lot of computer skills to make it sing even passably, thus mostly used by the younger generations, who have much IT affinity and almost Asperger-like dedication to the cause.

It would be nice if the article clear up any confusion visitors may have regarding the above question. Thanks in advance! 79.120.147.33 (talk) 13:41, 3 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

This Yūyu is a man and has nothing to do with the former idol Yūyu. Articles about this person written in Japanese.[1][2] Neko100 (talk) 13:55, 31 May 2022 (UTC).[reply]
