Talpa de Allende is a city and municipality in Jalisco state, Mexico. It is located at around 20°22′50″N 104°49′20″W / 20.38056°N 104.82222°WCoordinates: 20°22′50″N 104°49′20″W / 20.38056°N 104.82222°W, in the elevation of about 1,200 m. Surrounded by pine covered mountains, Talpa de Allende is another silver mining town, founded by the Spanish in 1599.
