Tanda Dam is a small dam located in Kohat District, Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa province of Pakistan. Tanda Dam, which forms the Tanda Lake, Water for irrigation is supplied to Jurma, Shahpur and many villages by means of canals from Tanda lake.
Tanda Lake is also a protective site by Ramsar Convention.[1] Ramsar is an international treaty for the conservation and sustainable utilization of wetlands. It was included in Ramser sites on July 23, 1976.
It also protects migratory birds from Siberia and Caspian in winter.
