Tandridge is a village and civil parish in Surrey, England. It is located between Oxted and Godstone.
The village lay within the Anglo-Saxon administrative division of Tandridge hundred.
Tandridge appears in Domesday Book of 1086 as Tenrige. It was held by the wife of Salie from Richard Fitz Gilbert. Its domesday assets were: 2 hides; 1 mill worth 4s 2d, 14 ploughs, 5 acres (20,000 m2) of meadow, woodland and herbage worth 51 hogs. It rendered £11.[2]
In the church yard of Tandridge church is an ancient yew tree, said to be about 2,500 years old.
