[edit] Biography
Born in Nanchang, Jiangxi, China, Liu graduated from the Guangdong Foreign Studies University of law. She served in the entertainment division-part of a performance troop in the People's Liberation Army. TV commercials led Liu into professional acting. Because of her spunk, and her never-give up personality that resembles the typical Shanghainese girl-Xing Zi, Liu was awarded the role of Xing Zi in the popular Cantonese TV series Foreign Wives, Local Guys. Later, she cast as Mu Sha in "Princess Returning Pearl III" and noticeably as A'zhu in Demi-Gods and Semi-Devils. Liu's impressive performance brought A'zhu's shyness, and caring personality into life and made herself a popular actress. She was selected as the year's most attractive actress in 2004, was one of the four most popular stars (四大花旦) at the Star Award Ceremony (星光大典) in 2006. In 2008, Liu married Wang Ke in Beijing, and she gave birth to a daughter that year, and in September 2009, she her son was born.
