The Tawny Grassbird (Megalurus timoriensis) is a songbird species of the grass- and bush-warbler family (Locustellidae). It was formerly placed in the "Old World warbler" assemblage.
It is found in Australia, Indonesia, Papua New Guinea, and the Philippines.
