Tech Edge (Tech-Edge) is the annual computer fest organized by Birla Vidya Niketan as a part of their Cultural Fiesta "UTSAV". The fest lasts 1 day and usually takes place during July. THE event has various schools of DELHI participating to present their inventions.

[edit] C++ Programming
Two rounds are held for this event. In the first round, the preliminaries, each team of two students is to clear an objective paper. The paper may also contain simple subjective questions. The top ten teams to clear the preliminaries compete in a two hour round. Some questions require intense thinking while others just require speed. Scoring is done taking into account the number of attempt calls, and the time taken.

Web Designing is held as a presentation event. Each team is to bring their pre-prepared websites on CDs and present their concept to the judges. The original files are also required to ensure that the work is their own.

One student from each school is to produce a collage from the images given to them. The topic is given on the spot and relevant images are provided. The software provided was Photoshop7.
[edit] Multimedia Presentation
In today’s business world, the key to success lies in effective communication through interactive channels. Multimedia presentation happens to be one of the most effective means of communication. A corporate presentation can be used as interactive brochure, direct mail piece, sales presentation, reseller education, employee orientation, trade show presentation etc. Addictive Media offers a high end flash based multimedia CD presentation at an affordable cost. We keep both the target audience and the presenter in mind while designing the multimedia presentation. We understand that the demand of each client s unique and accordingly plan a presentation prior to its production. In this event, the skills and creativity of students in forming multimedia presentations is tested. The students have to prepare a presentation in PowerPoint and also present it to the judges.
