TechTree has been leased out to be managed by Trivone Digital Services Pvt. Ltd., a Bangalore-based startup, effective from April 2011, while Disney-UTV retains is ownership.

TV Show[edit]

After the UTV group acquisition of the parent company, a companion show, also called TechTree, was produced for UTVi (now Bloomberg UTV). The show originally aired on Thursdays at 10:30pm IST.

In September 2009, the show went on a season break.

The new, 'reboot' of TechTree commenced on 28 November 2009.
