Tejashree

Tejashree (Marathi: सोनाली जयकुमार खेले )(born Sonali Jaikumar Khele on July 9) is an Indian film actress who has appeared in Kollywood movies. Tejashree is originally a kathak dancer, trained in kathak by her father Master Jaikumar Khele, a disciple of Pandit Gopi Krishna Maharaj. After a few modeling assignments, she broke into the Southern Film Industry. She has danced in many item numbers and has good roles in big banner films. She speaks fluent Tamil, being a Maharastrian from Mumbai. She has appeared in many television commercials, such as advertisements for chennai silk saree shop, kritika shikekai shampoo powder, and K.P.G. jewellery. She is busy doing many star night stage shows within India and abroad. Some of her biggest box office hits include Madhurey (2003), Ottran (2003), Arya (2003).

Family

Tejashree's father, Jaykumar Khele, runs a kathak dance school while her mother Shaila is a housewife, who was a teacher and later on principle of the school. She was singer, too. Tejashree has a brother, Sailesh, who is into the hotel industry, and was recently married to Priyanka. He has an outlet in Goa, running his restaurant as well as industrial catering. His catering name is Shree Samarth Caterers, and is soon opening another outlet in Mumbai. Tejashree's hobbies are listening to music, watching movies, playing the violin, and learning new languages. She loves to work as well as cooking Indian, Conti and Chinese food.
