Kuwait Television is a Kuwaiti state-run television station, part of the Ministry of information.
It began to broadcast on 15 November 1961 from the Eastern District of Kuwait City. It initially broadcast in black and white for four hours a day.
Early broadcasters included Salem Al-Fahd And Reza Faili and Jassim Al-Shehab.
