Telstar Logistics is a fictional logistics company founded by Todd Lappin in 1987. It is currently headquartered at San Francisco, California. Telstar Logistics is an exercise in urban camouflage and commercial phenomenology. Originally created as a way to elude parking tickets, Telstar Logistics is the name of the fake company applied to the sides of Todd Lappin's vehicle to disguise it as a commercial truck performing official duties. The fake Telstar Logistics fleet vehicle was featured in the debut issue of Make magazine, and it also appeared at the first Maker's Faire. The vehicle has also been noted in blogs such as Autoblog and Cool Tools. [1]
