Usage[edit]

This template creates either a {{cite web}} citation or an inline web link to entries in the rijksmonument register, Monumentenregister, maintained by the Rijksdienst voor het Cultureel Erfgoed.

Parameters[edit]

  • inline – set this parameter for an inline web link. If not set, a citation will be produced
  • monumentID – mandatory parameter, the monument ID
  • name – the monument name, mandatory if used for creating a citation
  • displayID – the internal database ID for monuments where it is different than the monument ID, see examples below
  • search – set this parameter to create a link to a search by the monument ID, rather than an actual entry. This is useful when referring to a complex rather than an individual monument, or when the monument ID is known but the internal ID is not.
  • accessdate – the access date for the citation

Error checking is not done at all. Specifying an incorrect ID will result in a link to a non-existing record.

examples[edit]

Citation

{{cite Monumentenregister|name=American Hotel|monumentID=3403|accessdate=6 February 2012}}

produces

"American Hotel (rijksmonument #3403)". Monumentenregister (in Dutch). Rijksdienst voor het Cultureel Erfgoed. Retrieved 6 February 2012.

Inline

{{cite Monumentenregister|monumentID=3403|inline=yes}}

produces:

rijksmonument #3403

Citation for a search

{{cite Monumentenregister|monumentID=530738|name=Diergaarde Blijdorp|search=yes}}

produces:

"Diergaarde Blijdorp (rijksmonument #530738)". Monumentenregister (in Dutch). Rijksdienst voor het Cultureel Erfgoed.

Citation with both monumentID and displayID

{{cite Monumentenregister|monumentID=530751|displayID=1021904|name=Dierenverblijf}}

produces:

"Dierenverblijf (rijksmonument #530751)". Monumentenregister (in Dutch). Rijksdienst voor het Cultureel Erfgoed.

Harvard style referencing[edit]

This template provides a simple Harvard style reference, using the monumentID parameter. For example, to reference the American Hotel use {{sfn|Rijksmonument3403}} or {{harvnb|Rijksmonument3403}}, as appropriate. However, year referencing is not supported at this time.
